It is with great delight that I can announce winner of the now-revived ACWAs – coyotesfan! He wins this week’s Awesome Commenter of the Week award with this commendable comment:

Hey Scooter, since we are almost done the quest for the cup can you make it so we can win the Stanley Cup for our house this week? I think the coyotes will win the cup, so it would be great for my house!

It was a fantastic idea, coyotesfan and one that we had already been working on, as Scooter confirmed: “Oh ya, coyotesfan! You are quick on the draw! Look for the Stanley Cup this week in Coach’s Office, click on it and you can win it for your house!” Great minds think alike, as the saying goes.

Coyotes fan wins 1,500 Coins and has taken his rightful place over there in sidebar. Treat him with respect, for he has done well. Then write some comments of you own to steal the award from him next week ;)

Yes, ACWA is back! For those of you that have forgotten, or have never heard of ACWA, it stands for the Awesome Commenter of the Week Award. And it could be yours if you do one simple thing…comment on this blog.

Just flex your fingers and wave them over your keyboard in a non-random fashion and you will qualify for entry into this week’s ACWA. Each and every week we – the Rinksters Judging Panel – will read all the comments submitted in the previous 7 days and choose our favourite.

The winner of ACWA will receive a sweet bonus of 1,500 Coins, plus his or her name in lights. OK, not in lights, but in bold type in the sidebar on this very blog. Fame indeed.

As it stands, it looks like the overwhelming response for Rinksters teams involves getting a team of at least 25 players involved.
- The team must have 3 Pros, who will all be assistant captains.
- One Pro can set up a team as an owner if they want to use their coins to make a cool name for the team
- The players on the team must all log in to Rinksters at least one time per week to add their coin total to the teams overall score.
- The team with the greatest score and most achievements, will win the weekly prize
- If a player does not log on that week they will be asked to re-join the team or find another team.
- Once teams win the first level with their 25 players, they can then go on to the next and try win with 50, 75, 100 players and so on.
- We will create some cool icons & jerseys you can pick for your team!
